Privacy
How Fill88 Spark - Market Play handles your data. It goes with the terms.
What we store
- Your display name, and the id of your sign-in with our sign-in provider, Clerk. Clerk holds your email address and signs you in with a code; we never see a password.
- Your Spark accounts, your simulated orders and payouts, and your rounds: the choices you made, the simulated orders and their results.
- When you accepted the terms, and when you last used the app.
- Our servers log requests, including your IP address, to keep the service running and secure.
- Your browser keeps the account you selected and a trade you are building. They stay on your device.
We store no card or payment details and no identity documents: purchases and payouts are simulated. Identity checks for payouts will be handled by a verification partner, under its own notice.
Why
To run the service: to sign you in, keep your accounts and their rules, show your rounds, results and receipts, and work out payouts. We keep the record of every order as an audit trail. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Clerk and our hosting providers process this data for us, only to provide the service.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. This is a test service: we may reset accounts or end the test, and then remove its data.
Once you delete your account, your rounds, orders and payouts are kept without your name or email, under an internal id only, as the audit trail. We never delete trading history.
Guests of the free simulator
You can try the free simulator without signing in. For a guest we keep no personal data: no name, no email and no sign-in.
- A random guest id, your Practice account and its rounds, when you accepted the terms, and when you last played.
- A cookie in your browser that holds the guest id, signed so that only our server can issue it. Your browser's scripts can't read it. It lasts 30 days, and it renews when it has under 23 days left.
- Your IP address is used in our server's memory only, to limit how many guests start from one connection. It is never stored with the guest; our servers' request logs, above, cover guests as they do everyone.
- After 30 days without play, the guest is deleted with its Practice account and rounds.
Signing up starts a new player: your practice as a guest is not carried over.
Tester feedback
While Spark is in beta you can leave feedback from the banner at the top of every page. It is up to you: nothing is collected unless you start the feedback chat.
- What you tell us. A first name or nickname, and, only if you choose to answer, your trading experience, your prop firm experience, how you found us and your age band. Each has “Prefer not to say”. Then your messages.
- Your country, worked out from your connection by our web host when you start the chat. We keep only the country, never your IP address.
- What each message carries, shown to you before you send: the page you were on and its title; the game, round or mission on screen (and the variant of its rules, if it was on one) and the kind of account (Spark, Practice or Live); which of our start pages this visit began on and the tag in the link that brought you, if it had one; the app's version; your kind of device (phone, tablet or desktop), operating system and browser, by family only; your screen size, language and time zone; and the last 20 things you did in the app (pages, game actions and their results, round states and error messages shown).
- What we never collect: your full browser identification string, your IP address (used in our server's memory to limit how often messages are sent, never stored with your feedback), fingerprints, cookies for tracking, recordings of your session, keystrokes or anything you type into other forms. We infer nothing about you.
- Where it is kept: in our own database, through our own server, like the rest of your data. No other company receives it.
- In your browser: if you are not signed in, a random feedback id and key in your browser's local storage, so this browser can open your chat again. It is read only by the feedback chat and is needed for the chat you asked for; it does not track you. For this visit only, the start page it began on and the link's tag, in your browser's session storage: gone when you close the tab, and sent only with a message.
Why: to improve Spark during its beta, from what you choose to tell us. How long: until 90 days after the beta ends. It is deleted with your account, and a guest's with the guest.
Deleting it: choose Delete my feedback in the feedback chat, at any time, signed in or not. Your name, your answers and every message go at once.
Deleting your account
Choose Delete account in the account menu or on Account. Then:
- your active Spark accounts close, and can't be reopened
- your display name and personal details are removed
- your round history is kept, anonymised, for the audit trail
- your sign-in is removed. If it can't be removed straight away, support removes it.
You can't delete an account while a round or a payout is under way.
